Chase Piperato: 3X Youth State ChampionSince joining the Academy, Chase has grown in numerous ways. Not only have his wrestling skills flourished, but his confidence, maturity and mat presence have soared as well. As I watch him week in and out, I can see technique that has evolved from the TWA staff. What’s great is this staff can develop wrestlers with varying styles and skill sets.
Chase has lost a total of three total matches at the Georgia State Championships in 6 years. Two of these were in the state finals and all three were to very good wrestlers. He regularly competes at a high level placing if not winning local as well as national tournaments. As a father that never wrestled a day in my life, it is critical that he receives coaching and mentoring at every level and aspect of the game as I have no means of providing these. This year, for the first time in nine years, Chase will be at TWA all summer and not participate in football. A sport where he experienced tremendous success. He wants to focus on his strength and technique with the TWA staff getting prepared for high school.
Christopher Diaz: Youth State Champion – Tulsa Nationals FinalistEntering our fifth year with TWA, Christopher had some very specific goals: a state championship, and to compete at the national level. In years past these goals were no more than dreams. His commitment to Dustin and the rest of the staff at TWA however, have allowed him to realize those goals. The unyielding push by the coaches to challenge him to reach new standards has proven to be instrumental in his success. The top tier competition he faces every day does not allow him to waver in his effort. Additionally, the specialized resources offered by the Academy like strength training and camps have given him the extra edge needed in a sport were one point can win you the gold medal. All this has put him on the right track to fulfill his ultimate goal of being a high school state champion and eventual college wrestler. ~Fernando Diaz
Will Formato: 3X Youth State Champion
Our son William Formato has been with The Wrestling Academy for 4 years. He is a three time State Champion, the 2010 Dixie National Champion, 2009 GA Grind Champion and he is beginning to compete more extensively on a National level. The experienced coaches at TWA have been invaluable to William's training and success. Not only do they teach him technique but also the value of hard work, determination and good sportsmanship. You won't find a better group of wrestlers and coaches than at TWA! ~Shelia Formato
My 3 boys have been with Dustin since he first opened his doors seven years ago. With the best coaching and wrestlers in his room, I have seen dramatic improvement during that time. The boys went from being competitive on a local level to a national level. If you want to get your son to the next level, you need to go to The Wrestling Academy! ~Mark Bullard
